Mexico
Tourists playing soccer while a calf charged them (read more below). Never in America! Too many lawyers.
The bull was killed...but was used for meat. At least that's what they told us.
A family owned restaurant in central Cancun. Most establishments such as this one have at least one open side (no wall).
There were countless locals fishing at all hours of the day and night.
Just a pretty picture from the plane on the flight home.
Mexico was a lot of fun. We spent a lot of time wandering around neighborhoods, eating at family style restuarants and talking with the locals. Everyone we approached was very inviting and receptive.
The bullfight was a blast! Six men (all tourists) volunteered to take part in the show...they didn't know what they were volunteering for. They began a 3 on 3 soccer match...about two minutes into the match a calf (baby bull) was released onto the field. They obviously didn't expect this...didn't they wonder why they were given helmets?!?! The calf immediately charged one of the men and blind-sided him from behind. He was pulled out of the stadium only to return with a bandaged nose/face when the match was over. Nice way to start a vacation! His team lost.
