Loof Lirpa Bird and Monster Bob

On the car ride home, Celia tells me she has a homework assignment and asks if I've ever heard of the Loof Lirpa bird? I tell her I had not...and she goes on to explain that the assignment requires her to go outside and repeatedly yell 'Loof Lirpa' and the bird will eventually come into sight...and if it didn't reveal itself, she needs to go to a mirror and hold up the homework assignment and yell "Loof Lirpa" from inside the house. Not really understanding what she was telling me, I asked if I could see the homework assignment. I immediately realized it was an April Fools joke (Loof Lirpa spelled backwards) and told Celia I had seen the bird before.

Celia ran to the backyard as soon as we got home. She yelled "Loof Lirpa" for about 20 minutes. until dinner was ready. We all gathered in front of a mirror before dinner...and in a few minutes she realized she had been fooled!!!

Celia and I saw Monsters Vs. Aliens last Friday. The next morning Celia had a great idea of going to the store and buying the ingredients to make Monster Bob (one of the main characters that had a jello-like look).

Of course, she had to spray the whipped cream directly into her mouth a few times.
